Charting a selection right-click a population · charts and tables of just those dies · no host code
Most questions about a wafer are about some of its dies: the cluster, the edge, one bin, one wafer out of a lot. Right-click any of them and a menu offers a value histogram, process capability, your saved plots and sweeps, and the Dies and Test statistics tables, all drawn from exactly those dies. Every chart states its population ("21 dies selected on W01"), so it cannot be mistaken for the whole wafer. The Menu key, Shift+F10 and the toolbar's Chart button open the same menu without a mouse.

There is nothing to wire: the menu comes with renderWaferMap and renderWaferGallery, and its code is loaded on the first right-click. The only call on this page beyond the render is ctrl.setSelection(), which pre-selects the cluster so there is something to right-click straight away.
  1. Selected dies. The dies round the cluster at the lower left are selected. Right-click one of them, or drag a box of your own first. Right-clicking an unselected die selects just that die.
  2. A finding. Right-click a finding in the Summary panel: its dies are selected, then the menu opens on them.
  3. A bin. Right-click a bin in the legend. The menu opens on that bin's dies, and nothing is selected.
  4. The whole wafer. Clear the selection (Esc), then right-click empty space on the map.
  5. The same dies on every wafer. Turn on Select on every wafer in the toolbar, drag a box on any card, and right-click: the charts and a Wafers table cover those positions across the lot.
  6. Whole wafers. Right-click a card outside its map for that wafer, or Ctrl/Cmd-click several card headers to pick wafers and right-click one of them.
  7. A chart mark. Under Insights, right-click a wafer's bar in Yield by wafer, click a bin in the pareto or a bar of the histogram, or drag a rectangle over the correlation scatter.
