Support wafertools

wafermap and tsmap are free and open source under the MIT licence, and will stay that way. Using them in commercial work needs no permission and nothing is owed.

Support helps pay for development hardware and running costs, and makes it possible to spend more time on new formats, new features and the files people send in.

Companies

If your team uses wafermap or tsmap in its test, yield or product engineering work, please consider sponsoring it monthly. Commercial wafer map and yield analysis tools are usually licensed per engineer, per year. Here there are no seats to count: the whole team gets every release on every machine, and bug reports and format requests go straight to the person who writes the code. There is no set amount; sponsor whatever you think it is worth to your team.

The simplest route is GitHub Sponsors: sponsor from your organisation's GitHub account and GitHub bills it alongside its other GitHub charges, with GitHub's own receipts. Monthly sponsorship can also be set up on Ko-fi with a company card.

Individuals

If wafermap or tsmap saves you time, a one-off or monthly gift on Ko-fi or on GitHub Sponsors is very welcome.

Other ways to help

  • Report bugs, with a sample file if you can share one (anonymised is fine).
  • Tell us which tester or export format you would like read.
  • Mention wafermap or tsmap to colleagues, or say on GitHub Discussions that your team uses them.
